Leyla and Clint – Bathers Pavilion

Leyla and Clint were married at the picturesque Bathers Pavilion at Balmoral Beach on the 12th July. Once again the weather Gods smiled and turned on a beautiful evening. Sydney had been having a run of wet and cold days in the lead up to their wedding so we were all pleased with the outcome.

Leyla looked radiant, she smiled the entire day. I think the photos capture the beautiful relationship that Leyla and Clint enjoy

We did the more formal shots around Balmoral Beach, although as you can tell Leyla and Clint really wanted fun and casual shots so thats what we aimed for.

There was lots of love and laughter. We had a really enjoyable 30 minute photoshoot.

Then it was back to the party and the festivities began…their wedding dance, courtesy of Susan Williams at the North Shore Dance Studio in Crows Nest was amazing.

and to top things off…the most wonderfully original wedding cake…those apples would tempt anyone!

Amanda and Rangel – Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney

Amanda and Rangel were married at Doltone House at Jones Bay Wharf in August. The weather gods toyed with us from around noon, one minute sunny the next raining. When we walked with the Rangel and his Groomsman from the Novotel over Darling Harbour the heavens opened up and drenched us all. Thankfully the rain stayed away long enough for the wedding service to go ahead outdoors at the beautiful Doltone House and we were able to capture some amazing images around the Sydney Waterfront at Jones Bay Wharf.

Rain did not spoil this wonderful day…

Linda and Ben – Fort Denison, Sydney Harbour

Linda and Ben were married on 1st March 2014 on the picturesque Fort Denison in the heart of Sydney Harbour. The day dawned overcast and rainy, a brides and a photographers worst nightmare on such an exposed location, thankfully the weather Gods were kind to us allowing the service to go off as planned outdoors at 6pm followed by photos on Fort Denison.

The bride and groom both chose to get ready at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sydney. The Veuve and Hendrick’s Gin were great accompaniments to start the celebrations off on the right note.

Linda wore an absoluetly stunning Pallas Couture wedding dress. She looked just beautiful in it.

Rhys, Linda and Ben’s son was a very important part of the day’s celebrations. Thankfully loves the camera and was great to work with

The girls had planned to get a water taxi from Pier 1 to Fort Denison. The break in the weather allowed us to do a few photos while waiting.

Every great shot needs a little assistance…. Elena to the rescue.

This was a fantastic wedding to photograph, the location was stunning, Sydney Harbour is such a beautiful and romantic place, the weather gods were just kind enough to allow us to complete the photo shoot in just under 3o minutes before we lost all light. Cass had the pleasure of spending an hour with the delightful Maya. Cass and Maya’s mum Carol choose an outdoor location for this shoot, taking advantage of the parks around Hunters Hill in Sydney’s Inner West.
